I purchased some Fiddlesticks Wren 8 ply cotton from The Yarn Store, Darling Downs for this gorgeous little dog. I went for softer tones using Stone, Milo, Sage and Sky, along with some other cotton I had in my bag.
Fiddlesticks Wren is the yarn I always use for special projects and special people. The colours are beautiful, it's lovely to work with, and I know I'm going to love the finished result before I've even finished.

Really happy to find this Yarn outlet: as a happy crocheter the Wren cotton is great to use. It is cooler than wool, important with our changing climate. My only feedback is the integrity of the cotton which occasionally thins and even knots to rejoin are uncovered occasionally, as you go.
I have never made a mochilla bag before, working with 4 yarns at once, and was initially a little overwhelmed. The Fiddlesticks, 100% cotton worked up beautifully and has been lovely to crochet with. The colours are vivid and there is quite a range to choose from. I will exclusively use it in the future. The Yarn Store delivered my order hassle free and promptly.
