Athena Shawl – magnificent shawl, highlighting the stunning Artistry colours.
Knitting socks keeps the hands busy and away from evening snacks. Also makes me popular with my friends 😊
But believe it or not very hard to find in Tasmania, hence why I order from you.
I’m very happy with the sock yarn and the colours.
My only problem is I don’t have a swift or a winder to manage this yarn.
Why are Patons presenting yarn like this when there have been pre wound balls for more than 60 years!
In future would you wind balls before mailing them?
Regards
Diana
I love knitting socks, and have used many different brands of 4 ply yarn.
The Patons Artistry yarn is a joy to knit with.
The colours are lovely and wash up really well.🥰
I made socks on my singer 360 knitting machine with this yarn. It made lovely socks which have washed well and feel lovely against the skin…so nice and warm! As usual, can’t go past Patonyle wool. It worked so well on the machine, no knots, no breaks…just lovely sock yarn.
Pairing this with Bendigo classic hunter 8ply
The two make a pretty combo. I swatched for a cardigan called citadel by Joji Locatelli.
Now waiting for cooler weather to start
Best sock wool ever. Bought it second time. Whole family and friends are with socks now :) it's a great present too. Worn it last winter for hiking 🥾 just amazing wear. Also washes well and does not loose the colour or shape. Would definitely recommend! Tetiana
I have been working on a crocheted piece, and there is still more to do. I'm not a very experienced knitter/crochet, but I found this yarn so easy to work with. So soft and beautiful colours, I would certainly recommend it and service and delivery was great. Many thanks.

Patonyle Artistry is a beautiful sock yarn. I have purchased 3 different shades from The Yarn Store and have finished 1 sock and now onto the 2nd.
Picture shows sock not blocked but believe me it’s a lovely fit and feels so good underfoot.
I highly recommend this yarn..beautiful to work with and extremely long wearing. You just can’t beat the feel of home knitted socks.
Thanks to The Yarn Store for great service over many years.
Only got the wool a week or so ago. Impressed with the fast delivery. I have knitted with patonyle before, years ago in multi colours and I always liked the feel and how it knits. The artistry colours are so beautiful and there will be some socks being knitted for my grandsons and sons. Can't wait to get the needles clicking.
Such an interesting colour combo. My dear brother bought me some sock yarn for Christmas (what a great brother) so I found this to add to what he gave me as I woujd need 2 skeins for my project,

It's a work in progress. As an artist I hate sharing my work when it is still in progress. I had started using Patonyle yarn for my tapestry work a few months ago (bought in a small store near me) but I needed other colours like Opal mix, and Eventide mix which they didn't have. I really love them and think I will order more soon.
I ordered this wonderful Patonyle yarn to finish a pair of socks. Was amazingly quick to arrive, well packaged and I soon completed the other sock with two more in the pipeline. Knitting with 4 ply Patonyle on the knitting machine is such an easy way of doing socks. No breaks or knots and it just flows! The Yarn Store delivered it to regional NSW in record time. Definitely a return buyer!
I’m looking at blending with a possum merino yarn. The pattern I’m using is called citadel by joji. It users a light worsted yarn, so a bit of swatching needed before starting.
