The Patons Blend 8ply is so soft knitted up. My neice is having a baby and not finding out the gender so the lime is a great colour.
I made this for my grandson, ready for next year. The pattern from ‘Patons - Play Days’ using cotton blend 8 ply, was easy to follow and the yarn soft on my hands. I imagine it will be a comfortable jacket to wear, nice for a two year old. Hopefully not to hard to keep clean.

So the squishy parcel arrived 10 days ago and I have been very tough and not started the next project before the last was done. And Christmas day looming put a deadline on the last project. So now that one is ready to wrap and I have started using the beautiful soft Patons cotton blend 8 ply to make a king single size Zookeepers Blanket by Justine Walley. I have dug out all my scraps of Patons cotton blend so I have lots of bits to use up but the bulk of the yarn will come from this order. 4 squares done so far and only about 146 to go... Is it really that many? Maybe I will need more yarn.. Have a great Christmas. I will send photos when its done. Probably May or June.. PS the yarn is so good to work with and I know it washes and wears really well.
