After many years of knitting baby blankets this is my go to yarn. It is extremely soft, easy to wash and not super expensive - an ideal yarn for busy mothers who no longer hand wash and need something snuggly for new borns.

So soft doesn’t split like the green.
The yarn is so soft but the grey is a slightly thicker ply than the other yarn I’m using for the same project. This is disappointing.

I didn’t really like the 8ply baby wool I purchased. It’s not wound tightly enough so is easily split by knitting needles. Will buy something else next time.
